The Scientific Research Institute of Microbiology, Virology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases named after L.M.Isaev at Samarkand State Medical University held a scientific and practical conference on topical issues of infectious and parasitic diseases with the participation of foreign scientists. The conference was attended by leading industry representatives from the People's Republic of China and the United States of America.

  The conference participants focused on the issues of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious and parasitic diseases widespread in the world, the measures taken to combat them, as well as the latest achievements in the field.

  The conference participants also got acquainted with the activities of the L.M.Isaev Scientific Research Institute of Microbiology, Virology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases.
