A regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Faculty of Dentistry of Samarkand State Medical University. The council, led by the Dean of the Faculty, MD, Associate Professor Alisher Akhmedov, discussed issues of improving the quality of education, scientific orientation of young people and strengthening foreign scientific cooperation.

  At the Academic Council, for his contribution to the development of education and international scientific cooperation, the President of the International Federation of Otorhinolaryngology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Desiderio Passali was awarded the title “Honorary Professor of Samarkand State Medical University".
