In order to rationally organize the free time of foreign students studying at Samarkand State Medical University, as well as promote a healthy lifestyle and increase their interest in sports, sports competitions are held for them on a regular basis.

  On April 12 of this year, the sports festival started, organized in cooperation with the Arsal Education Services LCC company. The dean of the University's Faculty of International Education, Sobirjon Mamarajbov, spoke at the opening ceremony of the games. He stressed that the sports competitions are not only a symbol of a healthy lifestyle, but also the embodiment of strong friendship in the student community.

  On the first day, international university students competed in basketball. Tournaments in volleyball, rugby, badminton, table tennis, chess and other sports will be held in the competitions scheduled until April 19.
