In order to preserve public health and enhance medical culture among young people, preventive events and round tables on medical examinations are regularly organized at the initiative of Samarkand State Medical University in secondary schools of districts and cities.

  In particular, on March 13, employees of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of SamSMU and a group of students of the Faculty of Dentistry organized meetings with students of school No.57 in Samarkand.

  The students were presented with information and recommendations on dental health and oral hygiene. During the visit, primary medical examinations were organized, over 50 school students were examined and necessary consultations were given on the detected diseases. During the meeting, the students were also presented with memorable gifts.
