As part of the “Youth Tourism Week”, students got acquainted with the sights of the city of Samarkand

  On January 5-6 of this year, within the framework of "Youth Tourism Week" on the initiative of the Dean of Medical Faculty №1 of Samarkand State Medical University G.U.Lutfullaev, study tours of historical sites of Samarkand were organized for students. During the trip, students visited the Guri Amir tomb, Registan Square, the Amir Temur (Bibi-Khanim) cathedral mosque, the memorial complex to the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and the Shahi-Zinda complex.

  The students received interesting information about the ancient history and culture of the city of Samarkand and the great creative work carried out during the years of independence.
