From October 3 to 14 this year, the second stage of the qualifying competition "Universiade-2022" was held among students of higher educational institutions of Samarkand region.
Students of Samarkand State Medical University actively participated in these competitions and managed to win: men's basketball team - 2nd place, women's handball team - 3rd place, men's and women's volleyball teams - 2nd place, soccer team - 3rd place.
Based on the results of the competition, the selected students will take part in the national team at the regional qualifying round of the Universiade-2022 competition.
