Educational and methodical work of the department

  Students of the 1st and 4th years of the Faculty of Pediatrics, 1st, 2nd, and 6th years of the Faculty of Joint Education, and 1st and 2nd years of the Faculty of Foreign Students receive instruction in the subjects of “Pediatric Surgery,” “Introduction to the Medical Profession,” “Nursing Care in Pediatric Surgical Diseases,” and “Nursing” in accordance with the respective curricula.

  The Department also provides training for highly qualified specialists in Master’s degree and Clinical Residency programs.

  Organization of the Educational Process

  Teaching for each course and faculty is conducted in accordance with the following approved documents:

  Technical Support for the Educational Process

  A telecommunications system has been established at the Department. Topic-related video materials, presentations, multimedia programs, lectures, and practical classes are demonstrated using televisions connected to a central computer.

  A unified database of scanned images has also been created for standardized teaching. It is designed in accordance with the curriculum and covers all sections of the educational program.

  Department Library

  • The library contains more than 50 educational resources in Uzbek, English, and Russian.
  • The electronic library includes textbooks, atlases, study guides, methodological manuals, and other educational materials.

  During the learning process, students consolidate their theoretical knowledge through practical training in the hospital dressing room, operating unit, and diagnostic departments.

  In addition, 4th- and 6th-year students undertake two night shifts as part of their practical training.
