Spiritual and educational activities at the Department are carried out in accordance with the approved departmental plan for spiritual and educational work. The person responsible for spiritual and educational activities at the Department is Assistant Mirmadiyev Mirfozil Shokirovich.

  Every Thursday, the Department conducts “Spirituality and Enlightenment Hours.”

  Each academic year, the Department’s professors and teaching staff serve as academic mentors for students of the Faculty of Pediatrics. They organize excursions with their assigned student groups to the notable sites and architectural monuments of the city and contribute to the meaningful use of students’ free time.

  In addition, Department staff members deliver lectures in their assigned mahallas of Samarkand on current issues in medicine.

  Caring for the younger generation and striving to raise healthy, well-rounded individuals are among the distinctive characteristics of the national character of the Uzbek people. Therefore, spiritual and educational activities are one of the most important areas of the Department of Social and Humanities Sciences.

  At the Department, spiritual and educational activities are carried out regularly in accordance with the approved plan.

  The Department’s faculty members conduct the following activities among students:

• They familiarize students with the works and speeches of President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, as well as decrees and resolutions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers, and conduct spiritual and educational activities aimed at fostering a well-rounded younger generation and enhancing and developing students’ universal, national, and spiritual values and worldview.  

• Promoting the successful implementation and development of constructive reforms in the Republic;
• Fostering a healthy lifestyle philosophy among students;
• Enhancing students’ political and legal awareness;
• Providing students with timely information about social, political, and cultural events taking place in the world and in the country;
• Fostering a healthy spiritual environment among students;
• Organizing students’ leisure time in accordance with the educational institution’s field and specialization, including the establishment of various extracurricular clubs.
