International Cooperation Relations

  The international objectives of Samarkand State Medical University are based on the concept of the university’s development and are aimed at strengthening its place in international education.

  The main advantages of international cooperation are the increase in the number of students from abroad, the development of joint projects with foreign higher education institutions and research centers, an increase in the number of researchers and teachers teaching in foreign educational institutions, joint research with foreign higher education institutions, which makes it possible to issue two diplomas, increasing the number of programs.

  Samarkand State Medical University develops relations with more than 60 state and international organizations, foreign universities and research centers in the field of education and science, based on the principle of equality. The development of dialogues on cooperation with universities in Europe, Asia, North America and the CIS is based on joint programs and educational mobility.

  Every year, the number of qualified specialists, professors, students and researchers named after Abu Ali ibn Sina from abroad who visit Samara State Medical University to establish dialogues of cooperation, training, advanced training, and participation in scientific conferences increases. Representatives of Samarkand State Medical University took part in the "Medical Congress of Turkish States" on September 5-9, 2024.

  Including a working visit of the delegation of Samara State Medical University to the People's Republic of China on March 19-24, 2024, signing a cooperation agreement with Xinjiang Medical University, holding negotiations on organizing joint educational programs of the "Center for Traditional Medicine" of Xinjiang Medical University, and an agreement was concluded on acquaintance and establishment of contacts.
