International Cooperation Relations

  The objectives of international activities of Samarkand State Medical University are based on the concept of university development aimed at strengthening its place in the world of international education. The main advantages of internationalization are an increase in the number of students abroad, development of joint projects with foreign higher education institutions and research centers, an increase in the number of researchers and teachers teaching in foreign educational institutions, an increase in the number of joint programs with foreign higher education institutions, educational institutions that provide the opportunity to issue two diplomas. 

  Samarkand State Medical University develops relations with more than 60 state and international organizations, foreign universities and research centers with participants in international cooperation in the field of education and science based on the principle of equality. The development of cooperation dialogues with universities in Europe, Asia, North America and the CIS is based on joint programs and educational mobility.

  Every year, the number of highly qualified specialists, teachers, students and researchers from abroad who visit Samara State Medical University for the purpose of establishing dialogues of cooperation, study, advanced training, participation in scientific conferences increases.

The department staff organizes online seminars and webinars

  Samara State Medical University is ready to establish contacts with educational and scientific centers, universities and public organizations around the world, and the doors of the institute are open to all applicants, students, researchers and teachers abroad.

  Also, the staff of the department actively participate in scientific and practical conferences organized by the Samarkand State Medical University and in other international conferences.

  Also in September 2024, the head of the department, Shavazi.N.N., participated in a forum held at Yeditepe University in Turkey, and in April 2025, the head of the department and assistant Atayeva F.N. participated in a conference held at Azerbaijan Medical University in Baku.
