Scientific circle
The Student Scientific Society (SSS) operates actively at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 3. Its activities are aimed at developing students’ research potential, improving their professional knowledge, and fostering scientific research skills.
Currently, the Student Scientific Society has 30 members.
During the 2025–2026 academic year, 20 meetings of the scientific and practical society were held in accordance with the department’s approved work plan. Current issues in obstetrics, gynaecology, gynaecologic oncology, and reproductive medicine were discussed at these meetings. The society members delivered scientific presentations, presented clinical cases, analysed current scientific publications, participated in discussions, and learned the fundamentals of scientific research.
The department’s students and clinical residents actively participate in the university’s scientific activities. They deliver presentations at scientific and practical conferences, publish the results of their research, and represent the department with distinction at various scientific forums.
During the reporting period, the department’s students and clinical residents actively participated in the Samarkand 2020 International Olympiad and the 80th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists. Based on their performance, they were awarded first-, second-, and third-degree diplomas. These achievements demonstrate the high level of training, scientific engagement, and professional potential of the department’s students and clinical residents.
