nternational Summer School for Medical Students Held at Samarkand State Medical University
From August 9 to 16, the International Summer School for Medical Students was held at Samarkand State Medical University.
The summer school was organized to enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills, support their scientific and intellectual aspirations, and strengthen friendly relations among young people of different nationalities. Nearly 50 students from around 20 medical higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and the Russian Federation participated in the summer school.
As part of the international summer school, participants had the opportunity to become closely acquainted with Samarkand State Medical University, its educational system, and the facilities and opportunities available to students. The participants presented their scientific research and exchanged ideas and experiences.
Various activities were also organized for the students, including sports competitions, first-aid competitions, master classes, lectures, and excursions to the historical and cultural landmarks of Samarkand.
The international summer school concluded with a festive closing ceremony. Speakers emphasized that the summer school served as a valuable platform for students to gain new knowledge and experience, demonstrate their talents, and establish and strengthen friendly relations among young people from different countries and nationalities.
During the ceremony, students who actively participated in the projects and competitions held within the summer school and achieved outstanding results were presented with diplomas, certificates, and memorable gifts.
The participants of the International Summer School for Medical Students also shared their positive impressions and expressed their gratitude to the organizers.
The event continued with festive musical performances and student performances.
