Samarkand State Medical University regularly organizes meetings between the Rector and outstanding students to provide comprehensive support for talented youth, create broader academic opportunities and favorable learning conditions, further enhance the quality of education and the university environment, and maintain open and constructive dialogue with students.

  On 22 June 2026, an open meeting and award ceremony was held with the participation of the Rector of the University, Professor Jasur Rizaev, bringing together gifted, highly motivated students who have distinguished themselves through academic excellence and exemplary leadership among their peers. During the event, an open discussion was conducted, allowing students to share their opinions, suggestions, and concerns directly with the university administration.

  Students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance, outstanding talent, active participation in university life, strong research potential, and consistently achieved excellent academic results were awarded the Rector's Scholarship.

  In addition, diplomas and certificates were presented to students who achieved prize-winning positions in national and international competitions, academic Olympiads, and other prestigious intellectual contests.

  During the meeting, Rector Professor Jasur Rizaev held a sincere and engaging conversation with the students, congratulated them on their achievements, and wished them continued success in their academic pursuits, scientific research, and future professional careers.
