With the arrival of spring, our people celebrate Navruz — one of the most beautiful and meaningful holidays symbolizing renewal and rebirth. This year as well, nationwide celebrations are being held in honor of March 21 — Navruz.

  Festivities also took place in the city of Samarkand. From early morning, the central streets of the city, as well as Alisher Navoiy nomidagi istirohat bog‘i, were filled with the spirit of Navruz and the festive mood of residents.

  The large-scale celebrations featured concert performances, folk games, and national shows. Various organizations, institutions, and higher educational establishments also actively participated in the event. Among them, Samarkand State Medical University presented vibrant performances reflecting national traditions and customs, exhibitions of traditional food and clothing, and festive musical programs, bringing joy and high spirits to the public.

  The festivities were also attended by the Governor of Samarkand region, Adiz Boboyev, who congratulated everyone on the occasion of Navruz.
