On December 12 of the current year, Samarkand State Medical University hosted the regular scientific and practical conference of the Association of Hepatologists of Uzbekistan.

  The conference was organized in cooperation with the Department of Infectious Diseases of Samarkand State Medical University, the DKTF course, the Samarkand Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, the Samarkand Regional Hepatology Center, and the Research Institute of Virology of RIEMYUPKIATM. The event brought together leading specialists and representatives of relevant institutions from across the country.

  Within the framework of the conference, participants discussed the Winter Session of the Uzbek School of Hepatology, as well as current challenges and new solutions related to viral etiology liver cirrhosis.
