On November 20, Samarkand State Medical University hosted the ceremonial “Student Oath” event for newly admitted first-year students. The ceremony gathered university leadership, faculty members, and more than 3,500 freshmen.

  In his opening speech, the university rector, Jasur Rizayev, emphasized that the oath taken by the students symbolizes not only the beginning of their academic journey but also their commitment to becoming worthy representatives of the noble medical profession. He highlighted that the oath serves as a reminder of responsibility, dedication, and humanity. The rector wished the students success and excellence in their studies.

  More than 3,500 first-year students of Samarkand State Medical University proudly took the Student Oath, officially marking their entry into the university community.

  The event continued with performances prepared by the students, including music, songs, and artistic presentations, adding a festive spirit to the ceremony.
