The Samarkand State Medical University hosted the «Heritage of Avicenna» exhibition, dedicated to expanding cooperative ties between science and manufacturing enterprises in the cultivation and deep processing of medicinal plants.

  The exhibition, organized by the Samarkand State Medical University in collaboration with the Samarkand Region Hokimiyat and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Samarkand Region, was attended by the Hokim’s Assistant on Local Industry Development, Nozir Ibragimov, and the Rector of the Samarkand State Medical University, Jasur Rizaev. During the event, speakers emphasized the importance of supporting scientific and innovative projects, as well as broadening cooperative ties in the production and processing of medicinal plants.

  The exhibition showcased new scientific and innovative projects from the university's Faculty of Pharmacy. Particularly noteworthy were the first manufactured products derived from seven types of medicinal plants developed by the Department of Pharmaceutical Activity Organization.

  As part of the exhibition, a seminar was also held to discuss achievements in the field, existing challenges in the industry, and ways to address them.
