In order to promote a healthy lifestyle and improve the health of the population, the Samarkand State Medical University works with the Kushrabatsky district to conduct in-depth medical checking. These checking are held in remote areas to provide the population with access to quality healthcare. The goal is to educate the population on the importance of leading a healthy life and preventative measures.

  On March 15, qualified medical staff of the University organized in-depth medical checking at the Akmachit family medicine center in the village of Chimboz, Koshrabad district. The population underwent a medical checking in more than 10 directions, citizens received the necessary consultations and referrals for necessary treatment. Explanatory talks and lectures with the population on “The basics of health”, “The effect of smoking on the human body”, and “The basics of proper nutrition” were also held at the medical center. 

  Today, the population of the Akmachit family medical center is 5,600 people, of which 2,100 belong to the first, 2,200 to the second, 718 to the third and 19 to the fourth risk group.

  Members of the working group also held meetings on the formation of medical culture among students of secondary schools No. 41, 64 districts.

  Such regular and systematic activities, implemented by the faculty and the working group of Samarkand State Medical University in remote areas of the region, contribute to the formation of a healthy lifestyle among the population and further improvement of the local healthcare system.
