The Scientific and Practical Center of Immunology, Allergology and Human Genomics at Samarkand State Medical University took part in the PRIM grant program competition within the framework of the MUNIS project on modernization of the national innovation system of Uzbekistan, implemented with the support of the International Development Association and the Cabinet of Ministers.
A total of 86 applications were submitted at the first stage of the competition, which took place from August 1 to September 30, 2024. The Samara State Medical University Center successfully passed the selection and was recommended by the International Expert Council for funding (a grant of 200,000 US dollars).
On January 29, 2025, within the framework of the grant program "Modernization of scientific organizations" (Public Research Institutes Modernization - PRIM) of the project "Modernization of the National Innovation System of Uzbekistan" (MUNIS), the working group of the Agency for Innovative Development and consultants of the World Bank visited the Samarkand State Medical University. At the meeting, strategic sessions were held with the MUNIS project implementation group and project participants with the aim of its successful implementation. The experts gave recommendations on the procedure and principles of project implementation, the effective use of allocated funds, as well as on the full implementation of the goals and objectives provided for in the work program.
