On November 26, 2024, the IV International Olympiad of Medical and Practical Skills "Skilled Doctors" was held at the Tashkent Medical Academy. The Olympiad was held in order to implement creative thinking, create broad opportunities for the implementation of innovative potential, the formation of leadership qualities and the realization of talents of student youth. It was attended by medical students of higher educational institutions of the republic and abroad, including Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and other countries.
The team of Samarkand State Medical University also took an active part in this Olympiad. After active participation, our students became winners in various areas, including:

Section 6: Head and Neck Surgery (Dentistry) Turakulov Otabek, honorable 2nd place.
Section 7: Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) Turakulov Elbek, honorable 3rd place.
Section 8: Medical Prevention (Environmental Hygiene, Epidemiology) Umarov Fakhriddin, active participation (nomination "Analysis of Special Cases").
Section 9: Ashirov Farrukhbek, successful participation in the "Young Scientists" competition, honorable 2nd place.
