On November 4, a delegation headed by Rector of Samarkand State Medical University Professor Jasur Rizayev visited Xinjiang Medical University (China).

  During the visit was discussed cooperation between the two universities. In particular, issues of opening a branch of the Center for Chinese Traditional Medicine, cooperation with the Xinjiang International Medical Center in the fields of education and science, as well as practical medicine were considered.

  During the visit, a solemn ceremony of awarding the title of "Honorary Professor of Xinjiang Medical University" to Rector of Samarkand State Medical University Jasur Rizayev was held. The honorary title was presented by Rector of Xinjiang Medical University, Professor Xaji Akber Aisa.
