Strengthening cooperation with Heidelberg University (Germany) in the field of neurosurgery

  On October 17-18, the director of the specialized scientific and practical center for neurosurgery and neurorehabilitation of the Samarkand State Medical University, associate-professor M. Aliyev, and assistant B. Abduvoyitov completed a short-term training course at the neurosurgery clinic of the University of Heidelberg, Germany (UKHD).

  During the visit, our specialists took part in complex technological operations carried out in this clinic and gained experience working with modern equipment. In addition, agreements were reached on interclinical scientific cooperation, academic mobility, short-term and long-term training of specialists.

  Also, an agreement was reached on holding master classes by neurosurgeons of the neurosurgery department of the Universitäts Klinikum Heidelberg (UKHD) in the specialized scientific and practical center for neurosurgery and neurorehabilitation of Samarkand State Medical University.
