Today, the departments of the Samarkand State Medical University are performing many high-tech complex surgical procedures. In particular, head of the Ophthalmology course of the Faculty of Post-Diploma Education of Samarkand State Medical University Temur Saidov, successfully performed complex eye surgery.

  In the operation performed using the phacoemulsification method, an artificial eyeball was installed, the eyeball remained numb and the patient's visual acuity was restored.

  Wide application of such high-tech complex practices is of great importance in the healthcare system of our region.
