Discussion aimed at combating religious extremism, terrorism and crime

    In order to prevent criminality and delinquency, addiction to narcotics and strong psychotropic substances and to protect them from joining religious extremist and terrorist movements, preventive roundtables and events are constantly organized among students studying at Samarkand State Medical University. .

    In particular, today, April 18, a roundtable discussion was held with students of Samarkand State Medical University aimed at combating religious extremism, terrorism and crime. The event was attended by E. Aripov, adviser to the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, F. Yusupov, an employee of the Internal Affairs Department of Samarkand Region, K. Bakhtiyorov, an employee of the State Security Service, D. Umarov, an employee of the Samarkand Regional Sports Department, university employees and students.

    Explanations were given at the roundtable discussion about crime and non-commitment of violations, legal punishments for them. The students were also told that it is the need of the time to avoid various destructive and foreign ideas and to be aware. It was emphasized to those gathered that it is necessary to appreciate the peace and well-being of our country and to make good use of the opportunities created.

    Students had the opportunity to get answers to the questions they were interested in.
