Head of Department of Neurosurgery of Samarkand State Medical University, PhD, associate professor M.A. Aliyev and head of the Department of Neurosurgery of the University Multidisciplinary Clinic S.A.Mamadaliyeva were leaded on 19-22 January active members of the "Young neurosurgeons" student scientific society of the department took part in the 1st World Congress of the International Society of Epilepsy Surgery and microneurosurgical training courses held on 2024 in Dubai UAE.
It should be noted that the members of the student scientific society of the department, including Bahora Mamadaliyeva, Hulkar Kholmurodova, Qosim Quvondikov, Odilbek Kholmurodov and Shohzod Abdunazarov, also actively participated in this congress and became members of the "Young epileptologists" society of the International League against Epilepsy.
World-leading neurosurgeons-professors, well-known representatives of the field of neurosurgery, and representatives of the delegation of Samarkand State Medical University participated in the congress program with lectures. They also participated in practical training courses organized at the congress and received international certificates.
During the Congress, agreements were reached on scientific and practical cooperation with the Department of Neurosurgery of Samarkand State Medical University and the student scientific society "Young Neurosurgeons" under it, "International Society of Epilepsy Surgery", "International League Against Epilepsy".
