SamSMU events to celebrate the national holiday “May 9 - Day of Memory and Honors”

  May 9 - Day of Memory and Honor is widely celebrated all over the country. The war, which brought disaster and losses to our multi-ethnic people remained a deep wound in long history of us.

  The memorable date is widely celebrated by the staff of the Samarkand State Medical University. On the eve of the memorable date the faculty of the University visited and congratulated long-serving employees of the University, who are now on a well-deserved retirement.

  Representatives of the University, headed by Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work E. S. Tangirov, on the eve of the national holiday visited the veteran of World War II, who worked for many years at the Department of Therapy, Candidate of Medical Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor Fazliddin Asliddinov. The guests expressed their gratitude to the veteran for his courage and heroism, wished him good health and long life, as well as presented memorable gifts on behalf of the university administration.

  On the eve of the holiday staff of the Department of Biochemistry of the Faculty of Pharmacy H. Nurboev and Sh. Keldiyarova visited and congratulated with the memorable date of the soldiers of the School of Training of Junior Sergeants of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan in Samarkand.

  The staff of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Technologies congratulated longtime university employee Usmon Karimov.

  Activists of Women's Advisory Council of SamSMU together with representatives of the departments visited homes and congratulated honored employees of the university who are currently on a well-deserved retirement - Lyubov Urazovna Khalikova (associate professor, former head of department of endocrinology), Saida Gafurova (senior teacher of department of pharmacology), Nazira Alimovna Karimova (associate professor, head of department of endocrinology), Khairiniso Khodjaeva (senior teacher of department of pharmacology).

  The oldest employees of the University expressed their sincere gratitude to the management of SamSMU for congratulations, urged to appreciate peaceful and safe life, wished wellbeing and prosperity to our people.
