On 8 April, the Women's Counselling Council of Samarkand State Medical University, together with the Faculty of Pharmacy, organised a seminar on "Ethics and dress culture for girls". The seminar was attended by female teachers, students and tutors from the university.

  Chairwoman of the Advisory Council of Women of Samarkand State Medical University G. Khudoiberdiyeva, representative of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Samarkand region S. Akbarzhonova, head of "School of Grannies" under Samarkand City Administration G. Husainova spoke at the meeting about additional opportunities for girls in education, contemporary ethical issues in the behavior of the fair sex, harmonization of national values and clothing of modern youth.

  The meeting had a lively and interesting format, with real-life examples explaining all the issues on the agenda.
