Training seminar on increasing publication activity

  A seminar-training on searching material and preparing articles for publication in high-ranking journals was held at the Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Therapy of Ist clinic of Samarkand State Medical Institut on January 6.

  Assistant to Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Therapy Elvira Yanova talked about how to find useful scientific literature to write a competent scientific article, peculiarities of designing articles on medical sciences, the distinction of "predatory" journals. Much attention was paid to the accuracy and literacy of scientific articles, as well as peculiarities of treatment and official correspondence with the editors of highly cited journals. The audience noted the importance of such sessions for the development of skills of scientific publication activity in the modern scientific environment.

  The workshop was very active and the participants received detailed answers to all their questions.
