Caring for the younger generation, striving to raise a healthy, comprehensively developed person is one of the traits of the national character of the Uzbek people. Therefore, spiritual and educational work is the most important activity of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. In the department, spiritual and educational work is carried out on the basis of an approved plan. The teacher responsible for this work is Khasanova. D. A. coordinates and organizes.
At the department, professors and teachers conduct educational work on the rules of etiquette, on the culture of dressing in society, on the dangers of smoking and alcohol consumption:
- they introduce the works and speeches of President Sh.M.Mirziyoyev, decrees and decisions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as spiritual and educational work in order to educate the mature generation, increase and improve the universal, national and spiritual worldview of youth leads to:
- successful implementation and development of creative reforms in the republic;
- formation of healthy lifestyle philosophy among students;
- increase of political and legal culture among students;
- imely informing students about social, political and creative events taking place in the world and the country;
- formation of a healthy spiritual environment among students;
- organization of students' free time in accordance with the direction and specialization of the educational institution, organization of various circles;
According to the instruction of the Department of spirituality and Education of the Institute, explanatory work was carried out on "Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "Fighting bad habits", "Covid-19". The Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev and the Action Strategy on the five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021 and the "Five Initiatives" developed by President Sh. Mirziyoyev in support of youth were regularly studied.
Work on the formation of a healthy lifestyle and physical culture:
Students are informed about a healthy lifestyle. Highly qualified medical care is provided to students studying at the department, if necessary. In particular, on World AIDS Day, students were provided with detailed information about the transmission routes and symptoms of the disease, complications, a presentation of an emergency raid in Samarkand on the topic "Fighting bad habits" and recommendations for a healthy lifestyle.
Guided tours of historical monuments and holy places with curatorial groups are regularly conducted. A visit to the House of Mercy, a walk through the sights of the city, and festive events are organized annually with curatorial groups.
