In the 2022-2023 academic year, the head of the department, Kholmurodova D.K., received the academic title of professor, approved by the OAK. Under the guidance of Professor Kholmurodova D.K., 2 PhD dissertations were defended in this academic year.
In 2024, the head of the department, Professor D.K. Kholmurodova, received a grant from the PRIM program from the World Bank.
As part of the grant, in June-July 2025, the department staff improved their skills at the 1st St. Petersburg State Medical University named after I.P. Pavlov.
During 2023-2025, about 250 scientific works were published by the department's staff, including 4 monographs, 95 scientific articles in local OAK journals, 91 in foreign OAK journals, and 29 in international SCOPUS journals. In addition, two professors and teachers of the department have invention patents.
