Educational and methodical work of the department

  

  The Department of Pedagogy and Psychology teaches the subject “Pedagogy and Psychology” to 2nd-year students of the Faculties of Pediatrics, Treatment, and Dentistry, the subject “Professional Pedagogy, Professional Psychology” to 2nd-year students of the Faculty of Medical Biology, the subject “Deontology. Life Safety” to 2nd-year students of the Faculty of Medical Pedagogy, “Professional Education Methodology” to 6th-year students of the Faculty of Medical Pedagogy, Family Psychology to 3rd-year students of the Faculty of Joint Education, the subject “Adaptation” to 1st-year students of the Treatment Department, and the subject “Scientific Research Methodology” to students of the Master's Degree Faculty.

  Training is carried out according to the following approved documents for each course and faculty:

–Qualification characteristics;
– State educational standard;
– Curriculum;
– Curriculum work program;
– Module program;
– Syllabus;

  Educational technologies include:

– Amendments based on the order of the State Educational Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 80;
– International recommendations;
– Modern educational technologies (graphic organizers, case technology and project method).

  The following technical support is available during the teaching process:

  A telecommunications system has been established, and videos, presentations, multimedia programs, lectures and practical exercises on the subject are shown using televisions connected to the central computer.

  Department library:

  • The library has more than 40 educational literature in English, Uzbek and Russian.
  • The electronic library includes textbooks, atlases, study guides, teaching and methodological manuals, etc.

  Today, at a time when fundamental changes are taking place in all spheres of life in the country, reforms in the field of higher education are gaining importance. Among the most urgent is the transition to a credit-modular system of education. The credit-modular system of organizing the educational process is a model of organizing the educational process, which is based on the combination of modular teaching technologies and credit educational units.

  The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5847 dated October 8, 2019 "On approval of the Concept for the development of the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030" also touched upon the role of the credit-modular system in the educational process. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 824 dated December 31, 2020 "On measures to improve the system of organizing the educational process in higher educational institutions." In accordance with the resolution, starting from the 2020/2021 academic year, the educational process in higher educational institutions was gradually transferred to the credit-modular system.

  An integrated lecture on the topic "Psychodynamic Approach to Counseling" was delivered to 1st-year master's students in the Psychology specialty, Psychological Counseling, in collaboration with O. Kuchkarova, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, and Maksimova Natalya Leonidovna, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Clinical Psychology of the Chuvash State University named after I.N. Ulyanov.

  An integrated lecture was given on the topic of psychological and pedagogical characteristics of individuals with speech impairments and mental disorders, in collaboration with Khafizova Mashkhura Aminovna, associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, and Norbutaev Farkhod, assistant, and Blagorasumova Maria Gennadievna, assistant, Department of Pedagogy, Psychology and Psychosomatic Medicine, Izhevsk State Medical Academy.
