The internationalist tasks of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology are based on the Concept of the University's development and are aimed at strengthening its position in the international educational arena. Currently, our university has established partnerships with leading educational and scientific institutions, research centers and international organizations in the world.
Samarkand State Medical University develops relations with more than 170 state and international organizations, foreign universities and scientific research centers, participants of international cooperation in education and science, based on the principle of equality. The development of cooperation with universities in Europe, Asia, North America and the CIS is based on joint programs and educational mobility. Every year, the number of highly qualified specialists, professors, students and researchers from abroad who visit SamSTU to establish cooperation, study, improve their skills, and participate in scientific conferences is increasing.

Samarkand State Medical University is implementing ambitious plans for cooperation with leading universities in the world. The goal of these efforts is to form a base of innovations in the field, scientific and medical innovations, as well as international experience in education at SamSTU, and to actively participate in the training of specialists in line with modern requirements.
South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov is the largest and most multidisciplinary university in the Republic of Kazakhstan and is considered the scientific, educational, intellectual and cultural center of the region. The university trains qualified personnel and specialists in all sectors of the regional, republican and world economy, science and culture in many specialties.
During the visit, a bilateral meeting was organized, issues of establishing mutual cooperation and implementing a number of joint projects were discussed.
The university leadership highly appreciated the scientific and pedagogical potential of SamSTU and expressed its readiness for cooperation in training qualified personnel and further developing its scientific potential. A memorandum was signed aimed at further developing mutual cooperation and academic mobility.
In accordance with the memorandum, the parties will establish further cooperation in the areas of information and specialist exchange, development of academic mobility of professors, teachers, scientists, young specialists, doctoral candidates, master's and bachelor's students, as well as joint scientific research, scientific conferences, seminars and symposiums.
In the future, it was agreed to conduct academic exchange of professors, teachers, students of the two universities, training of personnel in the field of scientific research and education, including on the basis of joint programs, implementation of scientific developments, projects, and joint publication of educational and scientific literature.
In accordance with the memorandum, associate professors of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the university O.O. Kuchkarova, M.A. Khafizova, D.U. Mamadiyarova underwent advanced training at the university from May 12 to May 31 of this year in order to develop their scientific and pedagogical potential.
