The department's research activities are aimed at educating the younger generation in the spirit of loyalty to the ideals of independence, increasing the spiritual and social potential of young people, studying the psychological and pedagogical problems of modern medical science, and developing knowledge aimed at the high-quality organization of the educational process.
All employees of the department actively participate in the research work of the department and the university. Currently, 4 employees are independent researchers (Tangirov E.S., Norbutaev F.M., Azgarova G.A., Ochilova F.B.) and 1 employee (Razikova L.T.) is an honorary professor, 5 employees (Kuchkarova O.O., Khafizova M.A. Mamadiyarova D.U. and Muratova Sh.N., Khayitova Sh.D.) have the scientific degrees of associate professor.
Over the past 5 years, more than 350 scientific works have been published by the department's staff, including 6 textbooks, 3 study guides, 4 monographs, 2 electronic programs, and more than 100 articles in leading national and international journals.
