Educational and methodical work of the department
Students of the Department are trained according to approved curricula in the discipline of "Ophthalmology" (5th-year General Medicine, 4th-year Dentistry, 4th-year Preventive Medicine, 4th-year Traditional Medicine, and 5th-year International Faculty) and "Neuro-ophthalmology" (5th-year Pediatrics).
The Department also provides training for highly qualified specialists in Master's and Clinical Residency programs.

- Telecommunication System: Televisions connected to a central computer are used to display thematic videos, presentations, multimedia programs, as well as lecture and practical course materials.
- Unified Image Bank: A centralized database of scanned images is organized according to the curriculum to ensure standardized learning across all course sections.
Department Library
- Print Collection: Over 70 textbooks available in English, Uzbek, and Russian.
- Digital Library: Contains textbooks, atlases, study guides, teaching manuals, and other educational materials.
Clinical Practice
Students have supervised access to thematic patients in modern ophthalmological diagnostic rooms.
