Educational and methodical work of the department

  In the department, 4th and 5th-year students of the Stomatology Faculty study the module programs of subjects related to maxillofacial diseases and injuries, pediatric surgical dentistry, and maxillofacial surgery.

  The department has established pathways for training highly qualified specialists in the master's and clinical residency programs.

  Teaching is conducted in accordance with the following approved documents for each course and faculty:

- Qualification characteristics
- State standards
- Module programs
- Syllabus
- Amendments based on the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 80
- Approved diagnostic standards
- International recommendations
- Modern educational technologies (graphic organizers, case technology, and project-based methods).

  Educational technologies include:

  The teaching process is supported by the following technical resources:

  A telecommunication system has been established, allowing the display of topic-related videos, presentations, multimedia programs, lectures, and practical classes through televisions connected to a central computer. There is a unified bank of scanned images designed for standardized teaching that corresponds to all sections of the educational program.

  Library

  • The library contains over 60 educational publications in Uzbek, English, and Russian. 
  • The electronic library includes textbooks, atlases, study guides, and methodological materials.

  Students are provided with opportunities to observe patients in ultrasound and radiological diagnostic rooms, the operating block, and the hospital reception department, tailored to the relevant topics.
