The "Golden Hands" student scientific circle at the "Maxillofacial Surgery" department organizes meetings to promote students' research activities. This is achieved through specialized sessions during international and national scientific-practical conferences held at Samarkand State Medical University. Students prepare research works on pressing social-humanitarian issues, as well as philosophical, methodological, and bioethical problems in modern medicine for national competitions in scientific research.

  The circle invites all students interested in the social-humanitarian problems of medical knowledge and practice to collaborate while encouraging the achievements of its members.

  The supervising teacher responsible for the club's activities is Abdullaev Afzal Sarxadovich. Today he is an acting associate professor of the department, as well as the author of more than 25 scientific articles.

  The club leader is Numanova Dilnoza, a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Dentistry, author and co-author of more than 10 articles at the international and republican levels. Since her 1st year of study, Dilnoza has stood out for her intelligence, activity in social and academic work, and thirst for knowledge. She has won the affection of her teachers through her modesty and politeness. As the group leader of the Student Scientific Society (SSS) at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Numanova Dilnoza serves as a role model for other SSS members, actively participating in university, republican, and international olympiads, seminars, and conferences, winning honorable places, and conducting scientific research.

  In particular, club members participated in the 5th International Medical Students Olympiad "SAMARKAND-2020" held in 2025, where Numanova Dilnoza won an honorable 3rd place in the field of surgical dentistry, Sherqulov Uchqun won an honorable II place, and Nurmatov Diyor won an honorable II place. Club leader Numanova Dilnoza won an honorable III place at the XXI International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Researchers held at the Tajik State Medical University in April 2026. Club members also participated in the 80th International Scientific and Practical Conference held at the Samarkand State Medical University on May 15-16, where Numanova Dilnoza took an honorable III place, Sherqulov Uchqun took an honorable I place, and Nurmatov Diyor took an honorable II place. In addition, she participates in international conferences with numerous articles and receives certificates as a participant in international conferences. Master classes and seminars on various topics are held within the framework of the SSS. Under her leadership, many students have won honorable places in international olympiads and conferences.
