Science club

The "Golden Hands" student scientific circle at the "Maxillofacial Surgery" department organizes meetings to promote students' research activities. This is achieved through specialized sessions during international and national scientific-practical conferences held at Samarkand State Medical University. Students prepare research works on pressing social-humanitarian issues, as well as philosophical, methodological, and bioethical problems in modern medicine for national competitions in scientific research.

The circle invites all students interested in the social-humanitarian problems of medical knowledge and practice to collaborate while encouraging the achievements of its members.

The responsible leader of the circle is Navro'z Samad og'li Ismatov, who is currently in charge of educational activities at the department and is the author of more than 15 scientific articles.

The circle leader is Dilnoza Numanova, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Stomatology, who is a co-author of over 10 articles at national and international levels. Since her first year, Dilnoza has distinguished herself with her intelligence, active participation in community and academic activities, and thirst for knowledge. Her humility and kindness have earned her the affection of her teachers. As the group leader of the student scientific society at the "Maxillofacial Surgery" department, she serves as a role model for TIJ members, actively participating in university, national, and international Olympiads, seminars, and conferences, achieving honorable places, and conducting scientific research.

Notably, in 2024, circle members participated in the "SAMARKAND-2020" 4th International Olympiad for Medical Students, where Dilnoza Numanova secured an honorable 3rd place in the surgical stomatology category, Uchqun Sherqulov achieved 2nd place, Mansur Rabbimov also earned 2nd place, and Muslimbek Baymurodov claimed 1st place. On March 28, 2025, Dilnoza Numanova won the honorable 3rd place in the Students' Reports category at the "Modern Technologies in Stomatology" practical scientific conference held at Moscow Medical University. Circle members also participated in the 79th International Scientific-Practical Conference at Samarkand State Medical University on May 16-17, where Dilnoza secured 3rd place.
