At the Department of Propaedeutics of Childhood Diseases, students of the 2nd and 3rd courses of the Faculty of Pediatrics and Medical Work are trained in the subject program "Propaedeutics of childhood diseases". The department trains highly qualified specialists in the areas of master's degree and clinical residency.
The University's Knowledge Assessment Regulation is based on the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Law on Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan" dated December 24, 2021 and resolutions PD-60 "Additional measures to ensure the academic and organizational managerial independence of State higher education institutions" and PD-61 "Financing of State higher education institutions on measures to ensure independence" and Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 01, 2022 No. PD-188, Resolution of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 9, 2018 "On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Higher Education institutions" approval of the Regulation on the system of control and assessment of students' knowledge Order No. 19-2018 (registered with the Ministry of Justice of Higher and Secondary Education resolution January 26, 2018, Order No. 3069) is approved by the Law of the Republic "On the education of students in higher education institutions, on the system of control and assessment, as well as amendments and additions" dated September 9, 2018 No. 820, Resolution of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 8, 2020 "Medicine and Pharmacy higher and secondary regulations on the organization of the educational process in institutions of special education on documentary confirmation" defines the operation of the system for monitoring and evaluating students' knowledge at the university.

Educational technologies include:
- Changes in accordance with CER Order No. 80;

In the educational process of SamMU in the l-4 courses, a credit-modular system is organized in accordance with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) model of credit accumulation and distribution. The transfer of credits is based on a comparison of the schedule for the transformation of the assessment system in a higher education institution into other assessment systems with a similar schedule drawn up in another higher education institution. Practical, seminar classes and self-study of the student, the fulfillment of tasks, as well as his activity in these classes are evaluated by the teacher of this subject.
The following technical support is provided during the training process: A telecommunications system is organized in which thematic videos, presentations, multimedia programs, lectures and practical exercises are broadcast using televisions connected to a central computer.
There is a single bank of scanned images designed for unified learning, structured according to the curriculum, and relevant to all cases in the curriculum.
Library of the department:
- The library has more than 40 pieces of educational literature in English, Uzbek and Russian.
- The electronic library includes a textbook, teaching aids, teaching aids, etc.
Students can visit patients in all departments of the multidisciplinary children's medical center of the Samarkand region.
