Based on the Development Concept of Samarkand State Medical University, which outlines the university’s international objectives, efforts are focused on strengthening its position in the global educational arena. The main advantages of internationalization include increasing the number of international students, developing joint projects with foreign universities and research centers, expanding the number of researchers and lecturers teaching abroad, and increasing the number of joint programs with foreign universities that allow for dual-degree opportunities.
Samarkand State Medical University maintains cooperative relations with more than 60 countries, international organizations, foreign universities, and research centers in the fields of education and science, based on the principle of equality. Collaboration with universities in Europe, Asia, North America, and the CIS is primarily based on joint programs and academic mobility.
Every year, the number of highly qualified specialists, professors, students, and researchers visiting SamSMU from abroad to establish cooperation, pursue studies, enhance skills, and participate in scientific conferences continues to grow. SamSMU is ready to establish connections with educational and scientific centers, universities, and public organizations worldwide, and the university’s doors are open to all international applicants, students, researchers, and faculty members.
Since the establishment of our department, collaborative work has been carried out with faculty members from Ryazan State Medical University, S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, Kazan National Research Technological University, Institute of Pharmacy, Chemistry, and Biology of Belgorod State National Research University, and the Abu Ali Ibn Sino State Medical University of Tajikistan. This collaboration includes academic mobility, webinars, and the organization of Olympiads.
