The Head of the Department, Bozorova Nigina Sobirjonovna, represented the department at the First Medical Congress of Turkic Countries, held at Yeditepe University from September 5–8, 2024, in Istanbul. Her participation in this prestigious event highlights the department's growing international academic presence.
As part of the academic mobility program, Bozorova Nigina Sobirjonovna also conducted lectures for 4th-year pharmacy students at Yeditepe University in the subject “Fundamentals of Clinical Pharmacy I.” This experience not only strengthened inter-university ties but also contributed to the internationalization of the department's educational process.
On December 16–17, 2024, the V International Student Olympiad of medical universities titled “Samarkand–2020” was hosted by Samarkand State Medical University.
The Olympiad brought together approximately 300 students and young professionals from 76 leading medical universities representing Poland, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey, and Azerbaijan in offline format, while more than 3,000 participants joined online. The event was held under the supervision of over 120 professors and academic staff.
Students of the Department of Organization of Pharmaceutical Work made a remarkable showing at the Olympiad. Pharmacy students:

In conjunction with the Olympiad, a scientific-practical conference was held in collaboration with the Department of Organization of Pharmaceutical Work and the German pharmaceutical company Bayer on the topic: "Innovative Approaches in Industrial Pharmacy: Bayer Pharma Experience."
This international event provided students and faculty with exposure to cutting-edge practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing, enhancing the department's academic and scientific standing on the global stage.
The staff of the Department of Organization of Pharmaceutical Work, in collaboration with Kursk State Medical University of the Russian Federation, organized a scientific and practical conference titled "Horizons of Biopharmaceuticals." Faculty members actively participated in the conference by presenting their scientific research and reports.
Moreover, the department has established international partnerships with the pharmacy departments of several prominent institutions, including Asfandiyorov Kazakh National Medical University, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, and Tajik State University named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, among other higher education institutions in Tajikistan. These collaborations involve the joint organization of offline and online classes, as well as webinars, fostering academic exchange and cooperation.
An online international seminar on the topic "Modern Commodity Market" was held with the participation of distinguished experts: Shertayeva Klara Djolbarisovna, Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Botany at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy; Yuldosheva Dilnavoz Khasanovna, Head of the Department of Organization of Pharmaceutical Work at the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute; and Jalilov Fazliddin Sodiqovich, Head of the Department of Pharmacy and Chemistry at Alfraganus Medical University.
Every year, the number of highly qualified specialists, professors, students, and researchers from abroad visiting Samarkand State Medical University (SamDTU) to establish collaborations, pursue studies, enhance their skills, and participate in scientific conferences continues to grow.
Notably, the XX Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students titled "Technologies in Medical Education and Science: Innovative Approaches" was held at the Tajik State University named after Abu Ali ibn Sino in Dushanbe. Within this framework, on April 24-25, 2025, the International Olympiad in Pharmacy took place, where the Head of the Department of Organization of Pharmaceutical Work, Bozorova Nigina Sobirjonovna, along with 2nd-year student Pulatov Firdavs, actively participated.
