Research work of the department
The Department of Organization of Pharmaceutical Work is dedicated not only to the advancement of the pharmaceutical industry but also to the moral and intellectual development of the younger generation. Particular emphasis is placed on nurturing loyalty to the ideals of independence, enhancing legal awareness and legal culture, and instilling both national and universal values.
An important scientific focus of the department is the study of the philosophical, social, and spiritual issues within modern medicine and pharmacy. This includes the scholarly exploration of their intrinsic connection to societal development and human health.
Currently, the department employs six academic staff members:
- PhD holders: Bozorova N.S., Payzullayeva U.F.
- Assistants: Oltiboyeva M.G., Narzullayeva M.A., Akhmedov B.Kh., and Dastamov S.F.
All of them actively participate in the scientific research activities of the department and the university. Two members of the department—Bozorova N.S. and Payzullayeva U.F.—hold PhD degrees in medical and biological sciences. In addition, three staff members are currently engaged in independent research.
Research at the department primarily focuses on the following areas:
- Pharmaceutical Management
- Industrial Pharmacy
- Drug Standardization and Quality Control
- Pharmaceutical Economics
- Innovative Technologies in Pharmacy
The department has also developed electronic programs and scientific tools that contribute significantly to both practical pharmaceutical work and the educational process.
The department’s scientific activities are carried out in accordance with an agreed and approved research plan. To date, the faculty members have published over 70 articles in international scientific journals, more than 300 articles in national (Republican) scientific journals, and over 110 articles in high-impact factor journals. Additionally, 14 articles have been indexed in the Scopus database.
Furthermore, the department has obtained 5 official certificates for the development of information and communication technology (ICT) programs and electronic databases, reflecting its commitment to innovation and digital integration in pharmaceutical education and research.
The results of these research activities not only enrich the educational process but also contribute to the development of the pharmaceutical industry and the improvement of systems for providing the population with high-quality medicines.
