International Cooperation Relations

  The international relationship of Samarkand State Medical University is based on the concept of development of the university and aimed at strengthening its position on the international stage. Currently, our university has established cooperation relations with the world's leading educational and scientific institutions, research centers and international organizations.

  Every year, the number of highly qualified specialists, professors, students and researchers visit Samarkand State Medical University in order to establish cooperation dialogues, study, improve their skills, and participate in scientific conferences.

  Every year, the Department of Languages holds international roundtable discussions, seminars and webinars with professors and teachers of several prestigious universities of the United States of America, India, Russia, Kazakhstan, Slovakia and others.

  Geography of cooperation: In order to strengthen communication and cooperation of the Department of Languages with universities and scientific research centers in near and far foreign countries, international cooperation activities have been established with Pavel Josef Šafareik University in Košice, Slovakia.

Ralph Schusler, professor of Florida International University, USA, held a seminar on "Teaching Modern English by Skillful Experts"

Mutual cooperation relations have been established with the Department of Languages and the Innovative Learning Center.


Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages of Chuvash State University   Nikitina Alena Yurievna  held a seminar on "English for specific purposes".


Ryabkova Yelena Anatolevna, associate professor of the Volga Medical University, conducted an online webinar on changes in pharmaceutical terminology according to the XIV pharmacopoeia.

I. Korolyeva Natalya Gennadevna, head of the Department of Languages, vice-rector of the North-Western State Medical University named after Mechnikov, held a seminar  “The international importance of learning English in medicine” and  Master Class for teachers and instructors.


Professor Ravender Gargesh of the University of Delhi held a Master Class in cooperation with the Department of Languages on the topic "Learning English medical terms and their importance in medicine".
