Caring for the younger generation and striving to raise a healthy, spiritually mature, and well-rounded individual is one of the long-standing values of our people. From this perspective, spiritual and educational work is one of the important areas of activity of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences.

  Spiritual and educational work at the department is regularly carried out on the basis of approved annual and prospective plans. The activities in this area are coordinated and organized by Sattorov Q., the teacher responsible for spiritual and educational work at the department.

  The department’s teaching staff carry out systematic spiritual and educational activities with students, paying particular attention to broadening their spiritual worldview, educating them in the spirit of respect for national and universal human values, and increasing their civic position and social activity.

  The main areas of spiritual and educational work are as follows:

• regularly familiarizing students with the works, reports, and speeches of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, as well as with the content and essence of the reforms being implemented in the country;
• educating young people in the spirit of respect for national and universal human values, patriotism, humanism, and spiritual and moral qualities;
• conveying to students the content and essence of the constructive and socio-economic reforms being implemented in our country and increasing their social activity;
• promoting a healthy lifestyle among students and conducting explanatory work on preserving physical and mental health;
• improving students’ political and legal literacy and legal culture;
• regularly informing students about important socio-political, economic, cultural, and educational events taking place in the country and around the world;
• organizing various spiritual and educational events, round-table discussions, meetings, seminars, and open dialogues in order to meaningfully organize students’ free time and develop their creative and intellectual potential;
• creating a healthy spiritual and moral environment among students and establishing the principles of mutual respect, solidarity, and tolerance;
• organizing various academic, creative, educational, and sports clubs in accordance with students’ interests and the educational direction of the department;
• identifying talented and active students and involving them in active participation in various competitions, olympiads, conferences, and spiritual and educational events;
• organizing events dedicated to national holidays, historical dates, the birthdays of our great ancestors, and important social and spiritual dates;
• developing a reading culture and broadly engaging students in reading fiction, scientific, and educational literature;
• carrying out preventive and awareness-raising activities aimed at developing ideological immunity among young people against the negative influence of various alien ideas, harmful habits, and information attacks.

  The spiritual and educational activities carried out by the department serve to develop not only students’ professional knowledge and skills, but also their spiritual and moral, intellectual, and civic qualities. Work in this area is continuously improved and organized in accordance with modern requirements for education and upbringing.
