The Department of Physical Education and Sports, in close collaboration with the University Sports Club, actively organizes student sports groups aimed at promoting and advancing a healthy lifestyle among students, fostering meaningful use of leisure time, and encouraging participation in national and international sporting events. These initiatives enable students to develop athletic skills and competencies while proudly representing Uzbekistan and enhancing the country’s international reputation.
To further strengthen students’ engagement in physical culture, encourage camaraderie, and ensure the effective organization of their free time, the Samarkand State Medical University Sports Club offers a wide variety of sports sections. Student-athletes from our university consistently take part in prestigious national and international competitions, achieving noteworthy results.
Participants in these sports sections regularly compete at regional and national levels, and many have successfully represented the university in international tournaments.
