Students' leisure time is spent engaging in cultural activities. The department's main activities include fostering high moral values in students, cultivating an interest in professional pursuits and a healthy lifestyle, and engaging them in the institute's cultural events. To achieve these goals, the department has a supervisory council, whose activities are carried out according to an approved plan. Each department group is assigned a supervisor, appointed from among experienced teachers. Under the supervision of these supervisors, students actively participate in social events, organize cultural activities, and visit historical monuments and landmarks of Samarkand, theaters, and museums.
Much attention is paid to physical education and sports. Students in the supervised groups attend sports clubs in swimming, tennis, chess, football, basketball, volleyball, national wrestling, martial arts, and track and field, which operate at the institute's sports complex. They actively participate in both regional and national sports competitions.
Spiritual and educational work is carried out on the basis of an approved plan, according to which various events are held dedicated to historical dates, national holidays, sporting competitions, and other events. Various meetings are held jointly with internal affairs agencies, law enforcement agencies, spiritual centers, and other partner organizations.
Each curator has a work plan, based on which they conduct various activities with the curatorial group. Each curator has information about each student and their daily schedule. They also have albums and discs containing footage of the events held.
The department head and the instructor responsible for spiritual and educational work meet regularly with group curators and students. Every Thursday, classes begin with an introduction to the materials of the "information hour."
