Educational and methodological work at the department is organized in accordance with the educational regulatory and legal documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to regulatory documents, when studying oncology, students in the department become familiar with applied clinical aspects, learn to operate equipment, and master research methods that they will later encounter independently in their practical work.
The department trains 6th-year students of the pediatric faculty, 5th-year students of the medical-pedagogical and medical faculties, 4th-year students of the medical biology faculty, and 3rd-year students of the traditional medicine faculty based on the scientific program "Oncology".
The department trains highly qualified specialists in the areas of master's degree and clinical residency.
Training is conducted according to the following approved documents for each course and faculty:
- State standard;
- Syllabus;
- Educational work program;
Educational technologies include:
- Amendments have been made based on Order No. 80 of the Security Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
- approved diagnostic standards;
- international recommendations;
- modern educational technologies (graphic organizers, case technology and project method).
During the academic cycle at the department, students are required to pass an exam on the acquisition of practical skills.
Department library:
- The library has more than 40 copies of educational literature in English, Uzbek and Russian.
- The electronic library includes textbooks, atlases, teaching aids, teaching aids, etc.
Over the years, the department's staff has developed 15 methodological recommendations, 6 teaching aids, 5 textbooks, and 8 monographs for senior students, master's degree residents, and clinical residents.
