Spiritual and educational work at the department is carried out on the basis of the “Roadmap” approved by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University. Throughout the academic year, under the guidance of the responsible assistant of the department, S.S. Goyibov, and with the participation of the department staff and students, regular spiritual sessions are held according to the instructions and recorded in the minutes.
Educational and upbringing work with students.
In accordance with the order of the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University dated October 3, 2022, №517-A/F, assistants of the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine were assigned to students of groups 601, 602, and 603 of the Faculty of Medicine within the framework of the “Ustoz–Shogird” (Mentor–Apprentice) system.
According to the plan of the University Department of Enlightenment and Spirituality, staff of our department were on evening duty in the student dormitory, where they held discussions with students about discipline, morality, and the specifics of the medical profession.
Work on the formation of political and legal culture.
Spiritual and educational events and presentations organized by the University Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment were held, including: “Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” “Combating Corruption,” and others. The content and essence of these events were explained to students in detail.
Work on the formation of a healthy lifestyle and physical culture.
In pursuance of the tasks outlined in the “Open Dialogue” of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with representatives of the healthcare sector on 18.03.2022, and in order to implement Resolution №PQ-188 dated April 1, 2022, as well as according to the order of the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University №207/AF of April 18, 2022, staff of the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine carried out practical activities based on the developed “Roadmap” to provide mentoring assistance to medical associations of Okdaryo, Pastdargom, and Samarkand districts.
First of all, work was carried out to strengthen the health of the population of Okdaryo district and to widely promote a healthy lifestyle. In Samarkand district, large-scale round-table discussions were organized with medical workers. Afterwards, visits were made to patients undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of the Samarkand District Medical Association, where they were provided with consultative assistance and given recommendations on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
