International Cooperation Relations

  Samarkand State Medical University, based on the Concept of University Development, has directed its internationalization tasks toward strengthening its position in the global educational space. The main priorities of internationalization include increasing the number of foreign students, developing joint projects with foreign higher education institutions and research centers, expanding the number of researchers and lecturers teaching abroad, and enhancing the number of joint programs with foreign universities that provide the opportunity for dual diplomas. In this regard, on April 4, 2024, the IV International Scientific-Practical Conference on the theme “Innovative Technologies in Healthcare: New Opportunities for Internal Medicine” was held.

  In cooperation with more than 50 countries, international organizations, foreign universities, and research centers, Samarkand State Medical University is developing partnerships in the fields of education and science based on the principle of equality. Collaboration with universities in Europe, Asia, North America, and the CIS is being expanded, focusing on joint programs and academic mobility. 

  Each year, the number of highly qualified foreign specialists, professors, students, and researchers visiting SamSMU for the purposes of establishing collaborative dialogue, studying, improving professional skills, and participating in scientific conferences continues to increase

  SamSMU is ready to establish cooperation with educational and scientific centers, universities, and public organizations worldwide, and the university doors are open to all international applicants, students, researchers, and lecturers.

  Geography of Cooperation: The department has established relations and collaborative partnerships with more than 10 higher education institutions and research centers in both neighboring and distant foreign countries:
