At the department, students of the 2nd, 5th, and 6th years of the Joint Education Faculty, the 3rd year of the Higher Nursing Education. and Faculty of Traditional Medicine, the 5th–6th years of the Faculty of Pediatrics, the 5th–6th years of the Faculty of General Medicine, the 6th year of the Medical-Pedagogical Faculty, as well as the Faculty of International Education, undergo training based on the curricula of the disciplines “Anesthesiology and Resuscitation,” “Anesthesiology and Resuscitation. Pediatric Anesthesiology and Resuscitation,” “Emergency Medical Care. Emergency Situations,” and “Emergency Medical Care.”
The department provides training of highly qualified specialists in 5 areas of the master’s program and 10 areas of clinical residency.
Teaching for each course and faculty is carried out in accordance with the following approved documents:
– Qualification characteristics;
– State educational standard;
– Curriculum;
– Working curriculum.
The following are incorporated into the educational technologies:
– amendments introduced in accordance with Order No. 80 of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
– approved diagnostic standards;
– international recommendations;
– modern educational technologies (graphic organizers, case-based learning, and project method).
The educational process is supported by the following technical facilities:
A telecommunication system has been established, through which subject-related video materials, presentations, multimedia programs, lectures, and practical sessions are demonstrated using televisions connected to the central computer. A unified bank of scanned images, developed in accordance with the curriculum and corresponding to all its sections, is available for standardized teaching purposes.
Department Library:
- The library contains more than 60 educational publications in English, Uzbek, and Russian.
- The electronic library includes textbooks, collections, study guides, instructional-methodological manuals, and other resources.
For students, thematic clinical observations of patients have been organized in resuscitation and intensive care units, as well as in operating rooms.
