Research work at the Department of Social and Humanities is carried out through the organization of meetings of the "Young Enlighteners" student scientific circle, as well as separate sectional meetings within the framework of international and republican student scientific and practical conferences held at Samarkand State Medical University. Students are preparing research papers on current issues of social and humanitarian knowledge, philosophical, methodological, and bioethical problems of modern medicine for republican research work competitions.
All students interested in the socio-humanitarian problems of medical knowledge and activity encourage cooperation, encouraging the achievements of club members. It should be noted that the Department of Social and Humanities of Samarkand State Medical University will be integrated with scientific circles of prestigious foreign universities. The scientific circle of the Department of Young Spiritual Leaders monitors the progress of students' scientific research, their online participation in international conferences and forums, writing theses, articles, and presentations.
The head responsible for the club's activities, teacher Aslamkulova Parvina Jamshedovna, is currently conducting research work.
Junior year elder : K. Usmanova, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine, author and co-author of 30 scientific articles, 1st degree diploma holder of the "We are against corruption" competition, rector's scholarship holder.
Senior course elder: V. Hakberdiyeva, 6th year student of the Faculty of Medicine, author and co-author of 42 scientific articles, holder of 15 diplomas, 20 certificates, 4 honorary certificates, 2 letters of gratitude, laureate of "Rector's Scholarship" and "Islam Karimov" scholarships.
Currently, the department's scientific circle includes 73 students who have been State Named Scholarship holders, Rector's Scholarship holders, Olympiad winners, and active conference participants for the past 5 years.
