International Cooperation Relations

  

  The international tasks of Samarkand State Medical University are aimed at strengthening its place in the international education sphere, based on the concept of university development. The main advantages of internationalization are an increase in the number of foreign students, the implementation of joint projects with foreign higher education institutions and scientific centers, and an increase in the number of researchers and teachers who teach abroad.

  Samarkand State Medical University is developing relationships with international cooperation participants in the field of education and science on the principle of equality with more than 60 countries and international organizations, foreign universities, and scientific centers. The development of cooperative dialogues with universities in Europe, Asia, North America, and the CIS is carried out on the basis of joint programs and academic mobility.

  The number of highly qualified specialists, teachers, students, and researchers from abroad is increasing every year at Samarkand State Medical University for the purpose of establishing cooperation, studying, improving qualifications, and participating in scientific conferences.

  Samarkand State Medical University is ready to establish contacts with educational and scientific centers, universities, and public organizations all over the world, and its doors are open to all applicants, students, researchers, and teachers from abroad..

  Geography of Cooperation: The department has contacts and cooperative relationships with more than 10 higher education institutions and scientific centers in both near and far-abroad countries:

  • CR World Rohrig Institute

  Academic mobility programs and master classes are conducted at the department by professors and teachers from leading medical institutions in CIS countries and other foreign countries.

  On October 8-9, 2024, Professor Dr. Ather A. and Dr. Christopher Rohrig from the CR World – Rohrig Institute in Germany delivered lectures and conducted a practical master class on “The Role of Acupuncture in Pain Management in Neurology” for the staff, doctors, and students of the Department of Neurology and the Neurology Department of the Samarkand State Medical University Multidisciplinary Clinic. On May 21, 2025, Professor Rachin A.P. from the National Association of Experts on Comorbid Neurology (Russia) visited the department, delivered a lecture, and conducted patient examinations.
